The council formally adopted the CIL Charging Schedule (incorporating all of the recommendations made by the Examiner) at a meeting of Full Council on 22 March 2018. This includes all of the associated documents, such as the R123 list, Enforcement Policy, Payment in Kind Policy and Planning Obligations for Infrastructure Supplementary Planning Document amongst others. The council adopted its Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and supporting policies on 22 March 2018 and came into effect on 25 June 2018.
Examination hearing sessions were held on 5 September 2017 and 9 January 2018, which allowed the opportunity for the appointed Examiner to consider the approach taken by the Borough Council in setting its levels of CIL and to hear those who objected to the proposed rates. The resulting Examiners Report was published in March 2018.
