The Community Furniture Project
Due to current lockdown regulations, the Community Furniture Shop in Basingstoke is closed.
They are currently not able to collect any items.
Do you have any re-usable furniture or white goods to donate? If so The Community Furniture Project will be happy to take them or collect them from your home.
The community furniture project is a local charity, promoting the re-use of furniture, household goods, electrical items and toys at low cost to people in Basingstoke, Newbury and the surrounding towns and villages. It has recently expanded, enabling much more furniture to be recycled and re-used in the community.
The Project has also launched a new scheme: Community Re>paint, which is coordinated nationally by Dulux, BIFFA and SWAP. Re>paint offers you somewhere to donate your usable leftover paint so it can be redistributed to those who need it.
You can support The Community Furniture Project by:
- donating furniture and electrical goods
- buying low cost furniture from them
- volunteering and training with them
