Community Centres and Village Halls play an increasingly important role in bringing local communities together. They offer a focal point for neighbourhood activities and a base for local groups. We work with the volunteers that are responsible for the management of all these facilities. This enables local people to determine and realise the sort of activities they need for themselves.
If you run or maintain a community centre or village hall, please help us update our community building strategy for the future by completing the questionnaire below.
Building condition survey 2017
The purpose of this survey is to help us plan our support services over the coming year. We may share this information with Basingstoke Voluntary Action to make sure that all community organisations managing community buildings have appropriate support and guidance to manage their buildings in line with current charity law and good practice.
