Hitting the cold spots
Hampshire County Council with its partners, runs the Hitting the Cold Spots campaign, funded by Hampshire County Council Adult Services and Public Health departments, which can help and advise you on ways to keep warm and healthy in winter. Find out more on Hitting the Cold Spots campaign.
The Environment Centre
The Environment Centre (tEC) is your local registered charity specifically set up to support local residents in Hampshire. Staff are able to provide free impartial advice to help reduce your energy use in the home and can offer advice about local/national grants and discounts available for insulation, renewable technologies and boilers.

Energy Efficiency Loans
We have set aside a pot of money to help homeowners improve the energy efficiency of their properties – this will also reduce residents’ energy bills and contribute to reducing carbon emissions across the borough. Improvements could include: insulation, replacement windows or doors, new boilers, upgrading lighting and any others where energy savings can be assured.
