South and South East in Bloom is part of Britain in Bloom, running annual competitions. Far from being all about flowers, hanging baskets and window boxes, Bloom is as much about protecting our environment, conserving our specie rich landscape and promoting good environmental management and care. Get involved by:

• Sponsoring a floral display or hanging basket.
• Starting a Cleaner, Greener group in your neighbourhood, working together to create an environment to be proud of.
• Recycling your garden waste using the Garden Waste Service.
• Becoming a conservation volunteer.
