Report a missed bin collection

If your rubbish, recycling, or garden waste bin hasn't been collected, please wait until after 6pm on your collection day to let us know. If your bin hasn’t been collected by this time, please use this form to report your missed bin. You should complete the missed collection form within two working days of your planned collection date.

If you are unsure when your bin should be collected, check your collection day.

Reasons why collections are missed

If we didn't collect your rubbish, recycling, or garden waste it might be because:

  • a bin or box was left where it can't be seen. Bins should be placed on the pavement where they can be seen
  • a bin or box was put out after 6am on the day of collection and the team have already collected from your location
  • a vehicle or object obstructed the route
  • other issues out of our control such as bad weather or traffic disruptions
  • our vehicles are regularly serviced but can break down and we won’t always be able to replace with another vehicle
  • your garden waste was frozen and stuck inside the bin

If we can't collect your bin or box, we will return to collect as soon as we can. Otherwise collection will take place on the next scheduled day.
