Parking for up to one hour per day is free in these short stay car parks in Basingstoke town centre:
- Albert Yard
- Castons Yard
- Jacobs Yard
Please be aware:
- this only applies between 8am and 7pm, so if you arrive anytime after 6pm and get a free ticket it will expire at 7pm, not an hour from when you arrived
- the evening and overnight charge of £2.20 applies for any amount of parking after 7pm
- you must get a free ticket from the machine and display it in your vehicle
- you can only use the free one hour parking once in a 24 hour period
How to obtain a free ticket:
- go to the pay and display machine
- enter your vehicle registration number and select the green tick
- on the next screen press the yellow button below the 'Free Ticket' text on the pay and display machine
