The Basingstoke and Deane Pride in Place Fund (the Fund) aims to support local not-for-profit organisations with delivering new and innovative projects that will enhance the living environment and quality of life of residents of the borough of Basingstoke and Deane.
It is a flexible fund that provides both capital and revenue funding. Projects will need to have clear and measurable social and economic benefits for the residents of Basingstoke and Deane and will need to address clearly evidenced community needs.
The Pride in Place Fund is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills. The Fund is open to any not-for-profit community or voluntary sector organisation or group delivering activities or operating and managing community facilities in the borough of Basingstoke and Deane.

Please note that this scheme will fund capital projects, including improvements to premises and facilities as long as these improvements clearly support the aims of the fund.

Organisations interested in applying to the Pride in Place Fund will need to contact ukspf@basingstoke.gov.uk to arrange a conversation to discuss their project ideas. If the project is deemed eligible, organisations will then be sent an application form for them to complete.
