Shopping, eating and drinking
Festival Place is Hampshire’s regional shopping destination. It is situated in the heart of Basingstoke town centre and is home to 165 stores, 28 restaurants, bars and cafes, a sports centre, library, multi screen cinema and night club. It is minutes off junction 6 of the M3 with 3,000 safe, secure car parking spaces above the shopping centre. If travelling by rail, Festival Place, is three minutes' walk from Basingstoke train station.
Festival Place hosts a series of regional events including a home and garden exhibition, a food festival and a festival of fashion. Many stores open until 8pm weekdays.
The Malls Shopping Centre a shopping centre with a wide range of shops and cafes. Just minutes off junction 6 of the M3, The Malls has plenty of car parking directly above the shopping centre. If you are travelling by train it couldn't be easier with an impressive new entrance from Basingstoke railway station.
Eating and drinking
Festival Place has a great selection of places to eat and drink, with food being served at lunchtimes and in the evening. The town centre hosts restaurants catering for most tastes including Italian, Chinese, Indian, Thai, and French. There are also fast food outlets in the area.
