Environmental Improvements in South Ham and Buckskin
The council’s Environmental Renewal Scheme for South Ham and Buckskin has been carried out to enhance communal areas and open spaces within the local neighbourhood.
Works that have been carried out have included:
- Tree Planting
- Bulb planting to enhance the landscape and increase biodiversity.
- New footpaths
- New benches
- Clearance and replanting of areas to increase natural surveillance.
- New handrails
- Installation of wooden bollards in areas where parking on grass and tree roots has been an issue.
These improvements have been designed in response to the consultation that was carried out in September 2021.
