Here is information on a number of local and national charities continuing to provide support on issues such as mental health, loneliness and domestic abuse during lockdown.

Accessing support during the national lockdown

Support for those with dementia, their families, carers and friends

Support for those with dementia, their families, carers and friends is available from a number of organisations, including:

The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, which is continuing to provide support and is holding virtual groups such as coffee mornings and counselling sessions. For more information, visit the Care Centre website

Basingstoke Voluntary Action

We are working with Basingstoke Voluntary Action to co-ordinate community support during the COVID-19 pandemic. This partnership will enhance the significant community work already taking place across the borough, providing a source of further information and guidance and allowing us to match suitable volunteers to community groups.
