Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Policy
The current Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Policy for Basingstoke and Deane came into force on 1 April 2021. This policy includes significant changes brought about by the DfT Statutory Guidance published in July 2020. The main changes are:

The policy is live from 1 April but not all changes are currently in place, licence holders will be communicated with on when the changes will come in and a rough implementation plan will be provided.
