In Basingstoke and Deane, it is tradition to hold an annual Civic Sunday Service for the new incoming Mayor. At the service, past Mayors, Mayoresses, residents, councillors, and other dignitaries join the service to welcome them to the town and borough.
Further details for the Mayor's Civic Sunday Service in September 2027 will be added to this page in early summer 2027.
