Basingstoke College of Technology (BCOT)
BCOT was built in 1948 to support the local engineering industry. Apprentices from Thorneycroft would walk to the College from the factory on Worting Road, where a supermarket is now located.

Queen Mary's College (QMC)
QMC is a large sixth form college located to the south of Basingstoke town centre. It provides over 100 courses for ages 16-19 and adult learners. These include a very full range of AS and A levels as well as work at GCSE and foundation level. The college also offers full time vocational courses in IT, sport, drama and music.
