Three popular parks in the borough have been awarded the prestigious Green Flag status this year from Keep Britain Tidy.
Beggarwood Park, War Memorial and Eastrop Park have achieved the international quality mark for parks and green spaces for being beautifully maintained, clean and safe with good facilities for visitors.
This is the 3rd time Beggarwood Park has achieved the Green Flag award while Eastrop Park celebrates its 26th award and War Memorial Park its 18th.
The Green Flag Award is the national standard for parks and green spaces in England and Wales and both recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the country.
