The council published the Local Plan timetable on 9 October 2026 and the timetable has effect from that date.
The timetable shows the milestones required to meet the government’s 30-month local plan process. Throughout the process the timetable will be kept under review monthly and updated when necessary and the effect date will be amended to reflect changes.
The timetable is available to view at the Civic Offices in London Road, Basingstoke, from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. It is also available at libraries during their opening hours (Basingstoke Discovery Centre, Chineham Library, Mortimer Library, Newbury Library, Overton Library, Tadley Library and Whitchurch Library). Copies can be made available to members of the public on request.
