Permission to film in Basingstoke and Deane

If you are filming on private land, you do not need our permission, but you will need the permission of the landowner.

Filming permissions are free, but if you require the use of a service that has a fee attached to it, such as the hire of a car park, council building or event space, a fee will be applicable. Please include any such additional requirements at the bottom of the form.

    Please send the following documentation by email to business@basingstoke.gov.uk include your name and production company/educational establishment

    • CAA Licence
    • Public liability insurance for the drone operator
    • Drone operator's risk assessment

    • Production company or educational establishment's public liability insurance
    • Filming risk assessment

  • We will look at every request and send back a response as quickly as possible. Please ensure permission is sought as early in the production as possible.
