Grant funding support for community and voluntary sector organisations in the borough of Basingstoke and Deane

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025. The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills. Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is using its £1M allocation of UK Shared Prosperity Fund to establish a range of grant schemes that will provide financial assistance to community and voluntary sector organisations in the borough. Schemes will have different priorities and criteria but they aim to support the quality of life of Basingstoke and Deane residents.

Schemes will open for application at different intervals over the 2022/23 to 2024/25 period.
