During 2023/24 and 2024/25, the council used its £1M allocation of UK Shared Prosperity Fund to provide financial assistance to community and voluntary sector organisations and businesses in the borough to establish the following range of grant schemes.

The Fund supported any member of the Basingstoke and Deane Employment and Skills Partnership to deliver short-term interventions and projects to support residents facing multiple barriers to work to move closer towards employment.
The Fund supported any member of the Cultural Compact and associated partners to deliver projects to support participation in arts and culture in the borough.
