Call for Sites 2025

From 6 January 2025 to 17 February 2025 the council conducted a formal ‘Call for Sites’ consultation to inform its Local Plan process. We asked for details of sites for a variety of uses including housing and employment. Submissions involving brownfield land were particularly encouraged. 79 new sites were promoted. A number of sites were also repromoted, some with different boundaries.

The suitability of promoted sites has been assessed to inform the next stage of updates to the Draft Local Plan, in addition to future neighbourhood plans. These assessments can be viewed in the 2025 Strategic Housing and Land Availability Assessment (SHELAA)

The promoted and repromoted sites can be viewed on pdf maps using the links below. The maps show a record of the sites in the Call for Sites 2025 and any which were already assessed in the 2024 SHELAA.
