Planning Obligations for Infrastructure SPD

In March 2018 the council adopted a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) on Planning Obligations for Infrastructure which came into effect in June 2018 alongside Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). The Planning Obligations for Infrastructure Supplementary Planning Document was produced to expand upon a number of policies in the adopted Local Plan (2011-2029) and also to work alongside the adopted Regulation 123 list in respect of the CIL. It provides clarity on how planning obligations will be sought for relevant forms of infrastructure, with references to other key documents and strategies. It is supported by a document that outlines relevant charges for those forms of infrastructure which is updated annually.
