We provide over 150 play areas around the borough offering a range of experiences for children. Our play areas are inspected regularly to ensure the equipment is in good working order and that hazards are kept to a minimum.

Update Monday 7 September 2026
The splash pad at Chineham Park and the paddling pool at Eastrop Park will close for the autumn and winter on Wednesday 30 September 2026.
On Wednesdays both facilities will be closed until midday for maintenance. If temporary closures are required for deep cleaning or additional water treatment, we will provide updates here and on our social media channels.
