Domestic abuse is physical, emotional, verbal, psychological, financial or sexual abuse.

It involves the misuse of power and control by one person over another.

Abuse in the home is more widespread than people think. It affects men and women of all ages, ethnicities, orientations and income levels, regardless of ability

Domestic abuse can affect the victim's housing, health, education and the freedom to live freely without fear.

If you are in need of emergency accommodation contact us direct. If you would like to be interviewed by someone of the same gender, this can be arranged, but you must let us know when you come to the offices.

In an emergency always dial 999.

If you're in an emergency situation but can't speak, you can let the 999 operator know your call is genuine by pressing '55'.
