Sign in or register for a council tax online account
Business Rates
You will need:
- business rate account number
- bank name, branch and sort code
- bank account number and name(s) on the account
You can either email your completed and signed form to rates@basingstoke.gov.uk or post it to us: Local Tax, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke RG21 4AH.

Housing benefit overpayments
You will need:
- housing benefit overpayments invoice number
- bank name, branch and sort code
- bank account number and name(s) on the account
You can either email your completed and signed form to localtax@basingstoke.gov.uk or post it to us: Local Tax, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke RG21 4AH.

Using a highly secure link you can pay for the following services online at any time by using most of the major debit or credit cards. Payments made through this website are processed for the council by Capita Software Service.
The council service can be established from the document number and must be quoted when making a payment. Services are as follows:
