Due to system downtime between 10am and 2pm on Sunday 27 April some of our waste and recycling pages may be unavailable. If you are unable to complete your request, please try again later.
There are several reasons why your bin may not have been collected:
- It was not put out by 6am (May to August) or 7am (September to April) on your collection day
- It was not put at the point nearest to the public highway where the collection vehicle stops, such as the end of a path or driveway where it joins the public highway. This could be the pavement or road.
- It was overloaded or too heavy
- It may be damaged so it can't be lifted safely
- It was not accessible. Your road may have been blocked or the bin was behind a locked gate
- Severe weather conditions
- It contained items which are not accepted
- The garden waste was frozen and stuck inside the bin
If none of these apply you can report your missed bin after 6pm on your collection day, but before the end of the next working day. Provide your address details below and we can check what the issue is.
If you have experienced a missed collection of garden waste from a sack, please call our contact centre on 01256 844844.
If you put out side waste (for example a flattened cardboard box) with your green recycling bin and it has not been collected, please complete a bin collection issue form.
