Check collection delays and report a missed bin

There are several reasons why your bin may not have been collected:

  • It was not put out by 6am (May to August) or 7am (September to April) on your collection day
  • It was not put where the boundary of the property meets the road/pavement
  • It was overloaded or too heavy
  • It may be damaged so it can't be lifted safely
  • It was not accessible. Your road may have been blocked or the bin was behind a locked gate
  • Severe weather conditions
  • It contained items which are not accepted
  • The garden waste was frozen and stuck inside the bin

If none of these apply you can report your missed bin after 6pm on your collection day, but by the end of the next working day. Provide your address details below and we can check what the issue is.

If you have experienced a missed collection of garden waste from a sack, please call our contact centre on 01256 844844.
