Overton Neighbourhood Plan 2016-2029 was 'made' at Full Council on 21 July 2016. The Plan now forms part of the Development Plan for the parish and will be used to guide planning decisions in Overton. Below are the final versions of:

Referendum
The Overton Neighbourhood Plan Referendum was held on 23 June 2016. A total of 53% of the voters on the day said 'Yes' to the Neighbourhood Plan. Find out further information on the results of the Overton Neighbourhood Plan Referendum.

Leaflets have been published by the 'Vote No to Overton Neighbourhood Plan Group' and the ‘Yes for Overton’ campaign group in relation to the referendum. The Referendum was held on Thursday 23 June 2016 between 7am and 10pm. Notice of the Referendum can be found above. The question asked in the referendum was:
Do you want Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Overton to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?

The ONP was published for consultation on 18 September 2015 for a period of six weeks. The consultation documents consisted of:

Pre-submission (Regulation 14)
